The application

Recordings, transcripts, speaker labels and notes are created and kept on your computer, in a folder you can open and delete. Whisplet has no account system and does not send meeting content anywhere. Speech recognition and summarisation run locally; model files are downloaded once from dl.whisplet.ai when you ask for them.

Crash reports

If the application crashes, the next start shows a dialog listing exactly which files it would send: a minidump (stack traces and the list of loaded modules of the crashed process, never the audio or text buffers), the last lines of the application log, and a short version and hardware summary. Nothing is sent unless you click Send. Reports travel to api.whisplet.ai, are stored in the European Union, and are deleted automatically after 90 days. We keep no IP address with a report. The report id shown to you is the only handle; quote it when you write to support.

Bug reports and questions go through GitHub issues, where GitHub's own terms apply, or by mail to support@whisplet.ai, which forwards to the maker's mailbox. Please keep transcript text and other people's personal data out of both.
